There are many companies, websites, and programs out there that offer volunteer opportunities and activities for people under the age of 16. Even if you will not get paid, these opportunities will provide you with experience to add to your resume or future job applications. Not only that, but you will have fun in the process and will be giving something back to your community! The following opportunities are only a few of the many resources out there to help you get started in your quest for employment: American Red Cross, Y.M.C.A., Goodwill, United Way, Summer Youth Programs, etc.
